ELIGIBILITY: The Bleacher Report Ultimate Sports Trip Contest (“Contest”) is open to all legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and the District of Columbia, age 18 years or older at the time of entry; provided, however, that employees, officers, directors, agents and shareholders (and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and household members (whether or not related)) of Bleacher Report, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., The National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”), Allstate Insurance Company, the Prize Administrator, or any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, trustees, agents, judges, sponsors, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated entities (collectively, with the Sponsor, the “Contest Entities”) shall not be eligible to enter and/or win the Contest. Void wherever prohibited by law. By entering the Contest all participants agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules and Regulations (“Official Rules”).

2. HOW TO ENTER: The Contest begins at 6:00:01 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 12, 2017 (“Registration Start Date”) and ends following the completion of the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship game on April 3, 2017 (subject to any scheduling changes as applicable) (the “Contest Period”). Concurrently with the Registration Start Date, Sponsor will open its Bleacher Report Bracket Challenge game (“Bracket Challenge Game”) available at http://bracketchallenge.bleacherreport.com/ and users may begin registering for the Bracket Challenge Game by creating a new Bracket Challenge Game account (“Account”) as instructed on the Bracket Challenge Game page. At the time of initial registration for the Bracket Challenge Game Account users will be given the option to enter the Contest in connection with their participation in the Bracket Challenge Game. Each participant in the Bracket Challenge Game who meets the Contest eligibility requirements and desires to enter the Contest must, at the time such participant registers his/her Account, (i) fully complete the Account registration fields provided, and (ii) select the check-box option indicating that he/she would like to enter his/her Brackets into the initial Contest entry pool (the “Initial Entry Pool”). Entry into the Contest must be selected at the time a user initially registers an Account or will otherwise be unavailable. Once registered for an Account each participant in the Bracket Challenge Game will have from Sunday, March 12, 2017 following the official announcement of the Tournament bracket selections (subject to any rescheduling) until 12:00 p.m. ET on March 16, 2017 (“Entry Deadline”) to complete one or more (but no more than five) Tournament brackets (“Brackets”) within the participant’s Account dashboard. For each Bracket, participants will be asked to provide their predictions for the winning team of each game in each round of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship tournament (“Tournament”) and also provide a predicted combined total score for the Tournament championship game (“Tie-Breaker Score”) all in accordance with the Bracket Challenge Game rules and regulations available here: http://bracketchallenge.bleacherreport.com (“Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations”). The initial Contest scoring will be based on the underlying Bracket Challenge Game, and all Bracket Challenge participants who have selected to enter the Contest at registration (“Contest Entrants”) will have the Brackets associated with their Account (up to five) automatically entered into the into the Initial Entry Pool. In order for a Bracket associated with a Contest Entrant’s Account to also be entered into the Initial Entry Pool the Bracket must have been fully completed by the Entry Deadline (including the Tie-Breaker Score), and any unfinished Brackets associated with a Contest Entrant’s Account at the time of the Entry Deadline will not be included in the Initial Entry Pool. Contest Entrants may edit their Brackets at any time prior to the Entry Deadline in accordance with the Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations, and Contest Entrants will also be able to use the Bracket Insurance Feature (“Bracket Insurance”) during the Contest Period as further described below. For purposes of the Contest the Contest Entrant will be deemed the individual that legally controls the email address used to create the Account for the Bracket Challenge Game. Participation in the Contest is limited to one (1) entry (i.e. Account) per person (which may include up to five (5) separate Brackets). Contest Entrants who are found to have entered the Contest more than once using multiple Accounts will be disqualified. False or deceptive or acts in connection with any Contest Entrant’s participation in the Contest will render the Contest Entrant ineligible.

3. INITIAL ENTRY POOL SCORING: Each Bracket entered into the Initial Entry Pool by a Contest Entrant will accumulate points after any Tournament game (excluding the First Four) for which the Contest Entrant has correctly picked the winning team, with the number of points awarded for each correct pick increasing with each round of the Tournament as further described in the Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations. Point values for Tournament games are summarized below:

Round Points
First Four 0 point for each correct prediction
First Round (Round of 64) 1 point for each correct prediction
Second Round (Round of 32) 2 points for each correct prediction
*Following the completion of the Round of 32 Contest Entrants will be allowed to use the Bracket Insurance Feature described below for each Bracket associated with his/her Account
Third Round (Round of 16) 4 points for each correct prediction
Fourth Round (Round of 8) 8 points for each correct prediction
Fifth Round (Semifinal) 16 points for correct prediction
National Championship (Final) 32 points for correct prediction

Upon completion of all of the Round of 32 Tournament games Contest Entrants will be able to access each of the Brackets in their Account and use the “Bracket Insurance” feature available as part of the underlying Bracket Challenge Game (if they choose) to change one incorrect pick in each Bracket from the completed rounds by swapping in the correct winning team (the “Bracket Insurance”). After using the Bracket Insurance Feature the selected “correct” team will replace the incorrect team Contest Entrant originally selected throughout the Bracket wherever the Contest Entrant had originally designated the incorrect team as the winner (in both completed games and any remaining un-played Tournament games in the applicable Bracket). The Bracket Insurance Feature may only be used once per Bracket, and must be used prior to the start of the first Tournament game in the Round of 16 on March 23, 2017 (subject to any applicable Tournament game scheduling changes). Additional information about the Bracket Insurance Feature is available here http://bracketchallenge.bleacherreport.com. Full details about the scoring process for all Brackets are available in the Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations, which are part of these Official Rules. With the exception of the Contest Finalists tie-breaker process set forth in Section 4 below, in the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and the Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations with respect to creating and administering Brackets as part of an Account and/or the process for determining Bracket scoring, the Bracket Challenge Game Rules and Regulations shall govern.

4. DESIGNATION OF CONTEST FINALISTS: At the completion of the Contest Period Sponsor will identify the group of Brackets that represent the 12,000 highest scoring Brackets from among all Brackets entered into the Initial Entry Pool (the “Top Scoring Brackets”), and each Contest Entrant responsible for a Bracket in the Top Scoring Brackets will be selected as a finalist in the Contest (each a “Contest Finalists”) and will be included in the pool of potential winners used for the grand prize drawing described in Section 5 below (“Pool of Finalists”). Each Contest Finalist will only receive one entry in the Pool of Finalists to be used for the grand prize drawing, regardless of whether he/she has more than one Bracket in the Top 12,000 Brackets, and the total number of Contest Finalists in the Pool of Finalists may vary depending on how many Contest Entrants have more than one Bracket in the Top Scoring Brackets. In the event a tie between two or more Brackets must be broken to determine the cutoff point for the final 12,000 Top Scoring Brackets, the following tie-breaker process will be used to determine the scoring order of such tied Brackets: The Brackets will be arranged in accordance with the Tie-Breaker Scores provided, with the Bracket that is closest to the actual combined total score for the Tournament championship game being deemed the highest scoring and the other tied Brackets arranged thereafter in order from most to least accurate Tie-Breaker Score.

5. SELECTION OF CONTEST WINNER. On or around April 5, 2017 Sponsor or Prize Administrator will conduct a random drawing from among all Contest Finalists included in the Pool of Finalists to select one (1) potential Contest Winner (“Winner”). If it is determined that such potential Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements for the Contest or he/she fails to comply with the requirements set forth in the Winner notification process described in Section 6 below, the Sponsor or Prize Administrator will randomly select an alternate potential Winner from the remaining Contest Finalists (with such process continuing until a Winner that meets the eligibility requirements can be confirmed in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 6 below). Notwithstanding the foregoing if the Sponsor is unable to identify an eligible Winner in accordance with the foregoing process after notifying three (3) potential Winners Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, discontinue efforts to notify further potential Winners and withhold the award of the prize award accordingly. Odds of a Contest Finalist winning the random draw depend on the total number of Contest Finalists included in the Pool of Finalists.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Once identified by Sponsor following the completion of the Contest Period, the potential Contest Winner will be notified by Sponsor and/or or Sponsor’s designated prize fulfillment agent (“Prize Administrator”) that he/she is the potential winner of the Contest using the email address associated with the potential winner’s Account. In order to be deemed the Winner of the Contest and receive the Grand Prize, such potential winner will be required upon notification from Sponsor/Prize Administrator to (i) provide satisfactory proof of age, identity, residency, and general eligibility in a form requested by Sponsor/Prize Administrator; and (ii) execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release in the form required by Sponsor/Prize Administrator. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (i) a potential winner’s failure to respond to the initial email notification promptly after its transmission; (ii) the return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; (iii) a potential winner’s failure to provide Sponsor/Prize Administrator with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency or other eligibility information as requested; (iv) a potential winner’s failure to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days after its transmission; and/or (v) failure by potential winner to otherwise comply with these Official Rules.

7. GRAND PRIZE: The Winner of the Contest will be awarded a grand prize (“Grand Prize”) consisting of up to four (4) trips for the Winner and one selected guest (“Trip Companion”) to Sporting Events (defined below) of the Winner’s choice (each a “Sports Trip”). Each Sports Trip prize will include the following items (to be arranged by Sponsor or Prize Administrator): (a) 2 tickets to a sporting event of the Winner’s choice in the contiguous 48 U.S. States (a “Sporting Event”) scheduled to occur on or before December 31, 2017 (the “Trip Deadline”), (b) round-trip coach-class air transportation for Winner and Trip Companion to and from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest the Winner’s residence to the major U.S. gateway airport nearest the city where the Sporting Event is located (as determined by Sponsor or Prize Administrator) if Sporting Event is more than 150 miles from Winner’s residence, (c) hotel accommodations for Winner and Travel Companion in the city where the Sporting Event is located (or nearest available location as determined by Sponsor or Prize Administrator) for two (2) nights (the night before and of the Sporting Event), (d) ground transportation for Winner and Trip Companion to and from Winner’s residence to airports (if necessary), hotels and Sporting Event, and (e) $200 cash per diem for each day of any Sports Trip (starting on the day of departure through the date of return). Winner will be financially responsible for all expenses and other costs not expressly listed as part of the Sports Trip above, including, without limitation, meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, souvenirs, obtaining documents necessary for travel, other personal expenses and hotel charges incurred during the trip. Each Sports Trip must be taken in connection with a Sporting Event scheduled to occur on or before the Trip Deadline. If Winner takes fewer than four (4) Sports Trips prior to the Trip Deadline the remaining Sports Trip opportunities (and any other unused Grand Prize elements) will be forfeited. Each Sporting Event as described above is limited to a single ticketed event (e.g. one single game or competition), and each of the four (4) available Sports Trips includes only one such Sporting Event. If Winner elects to attend multiple related Sporting Events in a single location (e.g. multiple games in a championship series, multiple days of golf/tennis tournament), each separate Sporting Event will count as its own “Sports Trip” and will be counted separately towards the four (4) Sports Trips available as part of the Grand Prize. Sporting Event tickets must to be used by Winner and Trip Companion, and may not be transferred or sold. All taxes on the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive a Form 1099 reflecting the actual total value of the Grand Prize received. Grand Prize Value Limit: While the value of each Sports Trip will vary depending on the Sporting Event selected by Winner; the total value of all the Grand Prize (i.e. all four (4) Sports Trips combined) may not exceed $50,000 USD. Once the aggregate value of the Sports Trips selected by Winner reaches a total of $50,000 USD no additional Grand-Prize elements will be awarded, regardless of whether Winner has taken/scheduled all four available (4) Sports Trips (e.g. a Winner might exhaust the full $50,000 limit on two trips). In the event Winner has one or more Sports Trips available and selects a Sporting Event for his/her next Sports Trip that, if scheduled, would cause the total value of the Grand Prize elements awarded to Winner to exceed the $50,000 USD limit (as determined by the Prize Administrator), the Prize Administrator will notify the Winner accordingly, and Winner must (a) select an alternate Sporting Event and related trip of lower value so that the total Grand Prize value remains under the $50,000 USD limit, or (b) if allowed by Prize Administrator in its sole discretion, arrange to personally pay for any and all excess costs of the selected Sports Trip beyond the amount covered by the $50,000 limit (this may include taking responsibility for booking travel, lodging and other trip elements and making up-front payments as required by Prize Administrator). The actual total value of Winner’s Grand Prize is limited to the value of the Sports Trips selected by Winner. No additional prizing will be awarded if Winner selects four (4) Sports Trips with an aggregate value of less than the $50,000 limit. Additional Grand Prize Terms: Unless permitted by Prize Administrator, Winner and Trip Companion must travel together on the same itinerary for each Sports Trip. Winner and Trip Companion may be required to execute and return a Release of Liability form as provided by Sponsor/Prize Administrator prior to scheduling. Winner’s Trip Companion must be 18 or older unless the Winner is his/her parent or legal guardian (proof of guardianship may be required prior to booking). All travel arrangements must be made through Prize Administrator and Sports Trips must be booked a minimum of twenty-one (21) days in advance of travel (or earlier if instructed by Prize Administrator). Sponsor/Prize Administrator is not responsible for travel related delays or cancellations. Sporting Event tickets are subject to all terms and conditions specified thereon. Seat locations shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Prize Administrator and/or the applicable show venue, as applicable, based on availability. Sporting Event dates, venues, and details are determined in the sole discretion of the applicable leagues or organizations responsible for governing the Sporting Event and the applicable venues, and may be subject to change, rescheduling and/or cancellation (including without rescheduling) for any or no reason in those parties sole discretion. In the event of such change, rescheduling, or cancellation (including without rescheduling) Sponsor shall have no obligation to provide any alternate prize. Winner and Trip Companion agree to comply with all venue rules and regulations relating to the use of the applicable Sporting Event tickets and the related Sporting Event, and in accordance therewith, agree not to act in a disruptive or otherwise offensive or objectionable manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such event. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for the Grand Prize or any Grand Prize element, in whole or in part will be permitted, except that Sponsor may in its sole discretion (due to prize unavailability for any other reason as determined solely by Sponsor) substitute the Grand Prize or any portion thereof for a prize of greater or equal value as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Grand Prize and all elements thereof are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: Noncompliance with any of these Official Rules may result in disqualification. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY CONTEST ENTRANTS OR WINNER OR ANY BEHAVIOR BY WINNER AND/OR A TRIP COMPANION THAT WILL BRING SUCH PERSON(s), SPONSOR AND/OR ANY OTHER CONTEST ENTITY INTO DISREPUTE (IN SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED (INCLUDING ANY PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED ELEMENTS OF THE GRAND PRIZE). The Contest Entities are not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, undelivered, inaccurate or delayed entries, or for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors or problems which may limit or affect a person’s ability to participate in the Contest, whether human, mechanical, typographical, printing, electronic, network or otherwise (including problems with the Bracket Challenge Game and related sites), relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest (including scorekeeping and determining final Bracket standings), the selection of any potential Winner and/or awarding of prizes, or in any Contest-related materials. If, for any reason, the Contest (or any portion thereof) is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest (or any portion thereof). In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to (i) award the Grand Prize to the Contest Entrant with the highest scoring Bracket prior to the event requiring such cancellation (provided Sponsor is able, in its sole discretion, to determine a single clear winner based on the Tournament results at the time of cancellation), or (ii) discontinue the Contest and not award any prize. All interpretations of these Official Rules and decisions by Sponsor are final. No software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means of participation are permitted. Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and void all associated participation) they suspect or find: (i) to have used a software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means to subvert the participation process; (ii) to have tampered with the participation process or the operation of this Contest; (iii) to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; (iv) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or (v) to have provided inaccurate information on any legal documents submitted in connection with this Contest.

9. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE CONTEST AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE CONTEST. EACH CONTEST ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. By entering the Contest each Contest Entrant hereby acknowledges and agrees: (a) the Contest Entities shall not be responsible or liable for, and hereby agree to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless Contest Entities from and against, any and all losses, demands, damages, rights, claims, injuries, actions and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to (i) Contest Entrant’s participation in the Contest or (ii) Contest Entrant's participation in any prize-related activities (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s) including, without limitation, the Trip Companion), (b) the Contest Entities have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to a prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose, and (c) such Contest Entrant grants the Contest Entities and their designees the right, unless prohibited by law, to use his/her name, city and state of residence, voice, picture and likeness, without compensation, notification or approval, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the goods and services of the Contest Entities and all matters related to the Contest, in any manner or medium, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity. Failure of Sponsor to enforce any provision herein shall not be deemed a waiver of such. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY CONTEST ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND EACH CONTEST ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED. CONTEST ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY), AND CONTEST ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. You may already be a member of the league. Please note you can only have 1 bracket competing in any league at a time. A bracket may belong to multiple leagues but you can only have one bracket in each league.

You may already be in five leagues, and joining this one would put you over the max number. Leave one of your other leagues before joining this one, if you wish.

Brackets may have already locked. You can no longer join leagues after brackets lock on Thursday, March 17th at 12pm ET.

Do I have to complete my bracket in one session? Or can I save my progress and finish later?
Your picks automatically save as you go, so you can always come back and complete your bracket, as long as you do so before Thursday, March 17th at 12pm ET.
How do I view a friend’s bracket from a league page?
Click or tap on the bracket name from the list of brackets in that league. You can only view a friend’s bracket after brackets lock on Thursday, March 17th at 12pm ET.
I created a league, now how do I invite my friends to play?
From a league leaderboard page, click or tap on the invite button that you’d link to use. You can invite through Facebook, or copy an invite link that you can send to your friends. Please note that you won’t be able to invite friends to join a league after brackets lock on Thursday, March 17th at 12pm ET.
Points and Scoring
How do I score points?

Participants earn points based on the correct selections. Each correct selection is worth a different value depending upon the round:

  1. First Four = 0 point
  2. Round One (Round of 64) = 1 point
  3. Round Two (Round of 32) = 2 points
  4. Round Three (Sweet Sixteen®) = 4 points
  5. Round Four (Elite Eight®) = 8 points
  6. Round Five (Final Four®) = 16 points
  7. Round Six (Championship) = 32 points
  8. 0 points are awarded for each incorrect pick or if you fail to submit a pick for any game.
When are scores updated?
Scores and standings are updated shortly after games end.
When are the Points, Points Remaining, Rank, and Percentile updated for my entry?
Points, Points Remaining, Rank and Percentile periodically throughout each day.
How do I know if my picks were correct?
If the game has been played and your pick has advanced to the next round, you will see the team name in green text. If your pick lost a matchup and did not advance to the next round, you will see red text. The name of the winning team will appear just above or below the tile.
